As many others have pointed out it is to your advantage to check in as soon as the 24 hr window opens up but if the domestic segments (sticker upgrade for domestic only segments) are part of an international itinerary then OLCI is not allowed for AA for any of the segments. I could not OLCI for the domestic portions of any of my last three trips in the last 4 weeks.
