Thank you for your well written post. As someone who enjoyed your posts in the Hyatt forum I look forward to your regular feedback as an experienced multi program user now also staying @ IC Hotels.
Agree with much of your above assessment.

I have left Hyatt for IHG after decades for many of the IC hotels. The crushing blow for me was the loss of SF and LA Park Hyatt. As well as Hyatt’s overall declining business behavior.
I too find treatment at IC Hotels at the RA level also amongst the best of all the major programs without question.And unlike Hyatt I find them excellent with brand assurance and guest assistance the way Hyatt was in the past.
The only negative is Priority Club program customer service but thats a whole other thread and my way of dealing with it is to try never to call them unless its an emergency.

I would like to add that parking when I was at the IC Los Angeles this past April was at 25 dollars night.
That makes it a 40% increase if I am crunching numbers right
I am very disappointed to see that happen.......I am going to look for some alternatives.Thanks again for the post and the heads up!
