Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?

Yes. Nice property, nice Club Lounge, and nice upgrade, especially since Club access was included. ^

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

I booked the cheapest available Advanced Purchase “King Bed Superior” rate at $199 per night for 2 nights. I actually booked 3 nights, but it turned out that my schedule changed at the very last minute (the same day I was supposed to arrive). I called to tell them that I wouldn’t be arriving until the next day, not expecting a refund at all for the night I missed since it was a prepaid Advance Purchase rate. The lady said “Oh I see you’re a RA, let me see what I can do for you”. She then got back on the phone and said “Don’t worry about it, we won’t charge you for the 1st night since you are such a valuable RA customer and you won’t be able to make it in tonight”. I thought that was pretty classy of them to do. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This was my only stay where I actually saw the upgrade posted online before I went. I was upgraded to a “King Bed Parlor Suite” almost a week in advance. ^ This seems to be the normal upgrade for RAs at this property from reading this thread. ^

- How are the rooms?

Nice enough room, with 2 bathrooms which I always like. ^ I didn’t get a view of the Bay, but I can’t complain as I was given a nice Suite and I especially couldn’t complain since they so generously refunded me for the previous night that I no-showed.

- How is the exec. lounge?

Nice, pretty decent food with rotating “Foods of the World” theme nights. I was there for American night the first night, but I missed the second night as I opted to eat at Miami Beach instead. I especially liked the “Massage” chairs in the Club. ^

- What was good and what was bad?

Great staff! Great RA treatment!! I especially like the “amenity” that was waiting in the room for me when I arrived. It was a big chocolate piano and chocolate dice!!! Cool and different from the normal IC/Hyatt/SPG amenities I am used to. ^

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

Pretty decent value for the money IMHO. Yes, I would return again.
