tough call
Likewise, we recently had EasyUpdate notify us at 4 AM (I have since turned off the do not disturb feature) of a delay in our 6:30 AM PDX-ORD flight until 8:15 AM due to late arriving crew, i.e. they hadn't gotten in the night before I'm guessing. Since there were no substitute crew, it made sense this flight could not leave any earlier than anticipated, and we waited another hour or so before leaving for the airport with our 2-year old. There was a huge cluster at check-in, Premier line included, and we proceeded to use curbside checkin outside of the 45 min. window--apparently, outside of the 45 min. of the delayed departure time (I'm fairly certain we checked our bags later than 5:45 AM).
