Wife can't pick seat.

Hi,

I have a non flexible CE booking in a few weeks time, which i booked a few weeks back.

Now, Mrs bjorns decided that she'd like to come along, so she booked on the same outbound and inbound flights as me (also non flexible CE).

I've selected my seats for both flights, but when she logs on to select her seats, she gets the message that seats are alocated at the time of check in.

I'm silver, she is blue.

I know it'll probably not be a problem on the outbound flight, as we'll check in 24 hours ahead of the flight on line and we should be able to grab two adjoining seats.

However, on the return leg we'll not have access to a computer 24 hours ahead of the flight, so depending on how full the flight is, we may have a problem.

I tried phoning the EC and they told me that there was nothing that could be done as we have different status and the flights are not on the same booking.

(Previously when I've booked flights for both of us at the same time, I've been able to select seats for both of us at the time of booking.)

Any way around this?
