This is what is truly aggravating about connecting in LHR: the fact that it doesn't HAVE to be so chaotic and slow, if only they would use more security stations (which they clearly have; they just aren't staffed, or they are broken, or whatever). Whoever is in charge of this clearly does not care about the mass suffering that results. Because of this, I avoid LHR connections as much as possible.
