Actually, that is Japanese that is literally translated into romanized characters. You want a coffee in Japan you do say "cohee".

Still they should know better.


Miss spelled English and just plain bad English is everyre here in Tainan City, Taiwan. There is just not enough English speakers here to correct the bad English.

Some favorites are - a hair salon called "F U * K" has a HUGE sign on one of the main streets.

Go to restaurants that are foreigner friendly which means "english" menu and you get varied spelling like "Coconut Mike with lemonass chicken"。

When I remember more, I will post.
