I suspect DJs plans as announced will lead NZ to announce next week two new fares for their existing services

Super Saver Fare - Becomes the cheapest fare offered, at around $20 cheaper than the current Smart Saver domestic fare, with a 20kg per person baggage allowance.
You do not collect Airpoints Dollars with this fare.
No changes are permitted – it is a “use it or lose it” fare.
There are no refunds for cancellations

Premium Flexi Fare - costing around $30 more than the current domestic Flexi Fare.
30kg per person baggage allowance
Priority Check-In and access to the Koru lounge with your boarding pass

What is odd is the flexible fares... eg WLGAKL flexible is $329 - $379, vis a vis $279 with NZ.
