Heard the re-painting is due to some fengshui stuff. Better to have 1 big fat golden pigeon then a few skinny small ones (thus removal of engine logos and enlarging of tail logo).
Also, the white cheat line is to make the pigeon look more stable.
This FengShui stuff really leads to anything, SQ even changing / re-numbering their flight again:
