Getting back on track though, as far as I've noted the pax were already disembarking and the pax situated across the wings noted the flames (not smoke, but flames) well before the crew. From what was said by a pax on CNN (navy chap, seemed very composed about the whole thing) was that the disembarkation was still going at normal pace up to 90-120sec AFER they saw flames across BOTH sides of the overwing exists.
What disturbs me is that as soon as flames are seen that crew isnt alerted quicker and evacuation initiated quicker. I wouldn't get all riled up regarding smoke unless its really huge amounts, but I doubt I'd be making my way out as normal if I saw flames.
