12,000 Non-Status Miles as Compensation
On a 19 July AC849 LHR-YYZ A330 flight, all AVOD in J were kaputt (mainscreen still functioning). In-Charge handed out compensation forms to all J pax, with option of AE mileage (unspecified at the time) or MCO (amount also unspecified). I chose the mileage.

Just received 12,000 non-status miles today as "Onboard Compensation".

Thoughts? Similar experiences?
