I certainly hope that there will be a sale, or at least, some money spent on these hotels to update them. The Helmsley Park Lane is the only one I've stayed at in the last several years, and despite its excellent location, the hotel is just an embarrassment. The decor and furnishings are circa 1970s, if not 1960s, and the property desperately needs a complete overhaul. It could really be great and make a LOT more money. I always figured that it was Leona's tightfistedness that kept this hotel as a 1972 time capsule!
