My not-so-favorable redemption experience relates to flights that are operated as 2-class (First and Economy, no Business).

As we are only allowed to upgrade from Economy to Business, QR effectively shuts out any upgrade opportunity when they sell the premium class as First, not Business - for example, on DOH-BEY, DOH-AMM and occasionally DOH-TUN.

The result is 2-class flights with half-empty First Class cabins but full Economy cabins. Wouldn't it be mutually beneficial for both QR and its Qmiles members if one were allowed to upgrade from Economy to First in such cases?
