I just flew DFW to EZE last night in the new seats and I was really unimpressed. the slant of the bed was annoying. when I lowered the arm rest to get more room I got my elbows and knees knocked into repeatedly by people walking down the dark aisle (although that might just be my bad for sleeping in weird positions). The older person next to me (in the window seat) had to wake me to get past me (I had to put my seat fully back so that they could get by. Felt bad for them - I think they waited as long as they could because they felt bad for having to wake me.
Am I wrong or is there less room width-wise when lying down? And what happened to my air nozzle? I liked having that control over my air.
I agree with the OP. I'm actually looking forward to my J seat in the 777 return knowing that it probably hasn't been upgraded yet.
