Like others have already said, ADL has always been great for baggage, usually the bags are starting out on the carousel when you get there if you are sitting in the first few rows of Y.
I used the airport extensively in the 3 years I lived there and both QF and DJ were the same. But I suppose most 'provincial' airports around the world are similar (except for KRK - which is a pain).
