Accommodation wise I stayed at the Nai Yang Beach Resort, which is a simple bungalow outfit, but perfectly good when you're just sitting on the beach all day. There were hotel oiptions there too.
I loved Nai Yang...miles of beach to myself.
Although it didn't bother me, in October there was plentiful debris washed ashore...logs, seaweed, even some garbage. The locals said that it would be cleaned up in time for the high season.

The local town is quaint, which I enjoyed. But don't expect nightlife here.
You should pass groves of rubber trees enroute to Nai Yang Resort.
I spoiled the Resort's resident cat w/ canned goods while I was there...please care for him!

And as I have mentioned in another post, Nai Yang Beach is a stone's throw from the end of the runway if you head north far enough along the beach.

Don't expect much of the national park; it's basically just some land with scattered trees, set aside so that it cannot be developed. ^
