I remember talking to a relative of a UA employee once about this, and since the other topic got touched on it a little bit,

I know that:

- employees & family members of UA employees are allowed to standby (lowest priority) for any domestic flight, but allowed to sit in any class (including 3-class 1st) if space is available.

- they are also allowed to standby for any international flight, but only allowed to sit in econ. or business. Absolutely not first class.

- they basically pay airport taxes only.

- employees are allocated a limited of transferrable non-family member travel passes (?)

Does anyone know the rest of the complete list of employee benefits? Sometimes I wish I had a family member who worked for UA... But then I'd never get any miles.
