Petra is one of the seven wonders of the world, and a truly spectacular site. But there is nothing gay about it. The men at the Five Star hotel were to die for, and friendly for days. Hot, masculine, with a smile to melt you. Some people tell me they can be had, but with all the places where it is legal, I don't want to tempt fate and end up in a foreign jail.

I crossed the border between Israel and Jordan. Talk about a "trip."

Actually, the people of both countries treated me absolutely wonderfully.

But in Jordan, it was look but don't touch.
