Philadelphia to Pittsburgh - Train or Fly?
I am curious what thoughts are out there from frequent train travellers about the Pennsylvanian and whether it is more convenient to fly or take the train from Philly to Pittsburgh.
The time difference from air travel and train travel is about two hours less (with check-in times and travel to the city) if I fly, but the cost is slightly more (about $50 roundtrip.) So, balancing all factors it pretty much seems even.
I am more inclined to go by air, but I would be willing to do the train so I can work and rest if people think that the Pennsylvanian service is reliable and the sights are worth seeing.
I am very interested in your thoughts on this subject. Thanks!
