UAP on LH boarding passes indicates (and is your confirmation) that the flight will be booked to your UA Mileage Plus account (Gisela, not having any UA status, gets UAP printed on the boarding passes too). But on LH's manifest your StarAlliance status (UAG = UAGold) shows.
