There was a thread in this forum about this same issue a few months ago - I believe the property in question was in Tennessee somewhere. If you stick with hotels that have "major" chain affiliations - eg Hampton Inn etc. - you should be fine. However, if you stay at "local mom & pop" motels, you could run into some problems.
