Personally. I think the new seats are a lot better than the old ones, but definitely not as good as a true flat seat would be.

I thought it was interesting on the Northwest thread that people said jeans might "grip" the seat better to keep you from sliding down. I'm going to try that on my nest trip- Hope I'm lucky enough to have the new seats!
