Sounds like you got a duff agent; but you did your homework as to availability so the agent shouldn't have had much to complain about. Always best to call early in the morning around 0930 when they are still sprightly and keener to help, and personally I always call the Newcastle call centre direct who are more than helpful.

I have not booked an MFU by telephone recently, but I would still strongly encourage you to book complex multi sector MFUs by phone.
