Unbelievable - surely there would have been witnesses to such an exchange! [Sunday Tele]

Mile-high prejudice alleged
Sydney executive David Moses has lodged a complaint with the airline, alleging the woman repeatedly made derogatory comments about Jews, even after discovering that Mr Moses was Jewish.
The 35-year-old businessman told The Sunday Telegraph he had never experienced such "extremely offensive" racism.
He said the steward had complained to him about an elderly French passenger who had become agitated over the provision of a wheelchair for her husband on arrival.
Mr Moses said the attendant had turned to him and said "Jews".
When he asked what she meant, she had replied: "That's what you get when you deal with Jews."
Mr Moses, the managing director of a finance company, said an off-duty Qantas staff member travelling as a passenger had "cringed" at the exchange.
After he told the steward "I am Jewish", Mr Moses said she responded: "Well, you better go and tell her that she's letting your team down."
"I was so taken aback by this comment that I really didn't know what to say," Mr Moses said.
"The stewardess then said something like: 'I'll tell you who is the worst - South African Jews."'
Mr Moses, a regular first- and business-class passenger with Qantas, had been returning from Singapore to Sydney.
On his return, he made a telephone complaint and sent two emails to Qantas customer service, but received no answer for two weeks, apart from an automated email response.
"In 35 years, I have never been subjected to such racist comments," Mr Moses said.
"The crew member was in a Qantas uniform, and for all intents and purposes was a representative of Qantas.
"I would be very surprised if these comments were an accurate reflection of Qantas's corporate beliefs."
Qantas customer products and services manager Lesley Grant said the airline was investigating the allegation.
