I hit P/M 2007 for the first time and received the 6 upgrade certificates. My main travel has been domestic and KE to ICN. I have 3 international trips in the next 3 months on DL.I used 2 JFK to MAN return and got confirmed biz seats at booking. Single JFK -DUB was cheaper to book I class than M so I did not use. Booked JFK to GRU with only O/B confirmed upgrade. Called back today and agent waitlisted me for biz which original ticketing agent did not on the return

I thought of buying a cheap $350 fare to Dub and seeing if I could get U/G. Would this have been a good decision as a PM. I.e Do PM get complimentary U/G quite often or rarely

Secondly if I chose this option in future can one see if one is U/G at check in and if not use the certificates to get to the top of the U/G line. or are complimentary U/G for Delta on international rare. I never ever chance it with BA and always use miles to confirm the U/G at ticketing


GRU is 6 weeks away and there are 24 seats out of 36 available, do they normally clear and any tips for improving the likelihood, calling regularly or is it really computer driven.

I cannot wait for the beds in 2008, DL have great routing from JFK internationally but CX F and BA J get my business because of the beds.
