I try and get paper tickets whenever possible mainly because they are endorsable. If an airline annoys me, I will switch my business to another in a second

Also, I don't know why, but it turns out to be easier (!) when I do date changes and what not... they tend not to revalidate the fare / resissue the ticket because it would take too much effort!
