actually the total amount of people you have in top status does not matter. you should set the requirements so that to achieve top status you have to give the airline great enough revenue. and if the current requirements for HON are not enough for an airline to consider me a top customer, then quite frankly that airline is getting slightly too arrogant in my opinion.
^^^ absolutely agree with Lennart. LH has done well so far to encourage people do business that much with them - they have to treat them well from a slice of that revenue to keep them!
[on another subject from ZRH last night: LX will take care of HONs in future much better, but only if they are LX-HONs or HONs travelling LX?! anyone more insight?]
