Indeed SEN lounge as arrival is possible. Just go up the stairs BEFORE the passport check (arriving non schengen that is). I never tried saying that I want to use the SEN lounge as arrival lounge to the waiting the security guys, as I never wanted to. But in times when the line at passport control is too large, it helps going up there, saying you have a connecting flight and there will be an extra passport control counter without a line. You do have to have your luggage screened again though before passport control, as you are entering secured area. Only done it on a few occasions so not sure whether they might give you a hard time up there if you don't have a connecting flight. Should in any case be possible to use the SEN lounge as arrival lounge, so they should let any SEN through.
Thanks, Lennart! The only issue for which I need a solution is indeed now the checked luggage. Hope the lounge warden can sort it out with the lost luggage agents to hold my luggage until 7pm (the time when I can pick up my luggage). I hope everything works out smoothly as I'll be taking a guest along with me who wants to enjoy the SEN lounge as well :-)
