That's great if you can work the whole flight over, but if not, I find it's a wasted day. And of course, this works better for business travel (company/client's £ for the hotel) vs. leisure travel (my $ for the hotel).
I agree on the leisure front. Which is why the 11p is my #2 favorite flight.
But since our company does not authorize business class travel for NY-LON flights, they don't mind us flying over the day prior.
