dont know if its save to leave it on the belt for a longer time period. you could always ask the SEN lounge warden to call downstairs and let someone from lost luggage know that you will pick it up later. that should work...
i've been to the mövenpick restaurant upstairs in terminal 2 (depature) two weeks ago and it was okish, but thought it was very expensive for the quality of food. dont know if there is better options at HAM...
