Thanks BOAC for clearing that up. Tier points don't mean anything to us as we only use BA for Europe as I have to admit we fly with the dark side (where gold there means just about nothing anyway) but I was just a little bit worried about loosing those points as I'm determined to do a comparison of a north america flight with VS and BA F
