Fidelity Brokerage
used to offer an amex plat card at nearly $100 off the regular amex fee. (1) You had to have $50,000 in securities (or cash) on deposit (but only on the day the application was approved

), (2) The card was in effect an end of month "debit card", they automatically deducted the outstanding balance each month from your acct.
From the wording on Fidelity.com, they are not offering new cards, but existing acct holders can still use it.
I did have one, and it gave me access to dl and nw lounges.
There may be other brokerage accts (or merchants) which offer a similar deal--does anyone know of any?
I think you only need a balance of $5,000.00, and they still do offer the card at $320.00. I got the card about 6 months ago (maybe less) when they added the domestic 2 for 1. The card is a deffered debit and works just like a Credit Card. Now with this and recent changes to MR, I may just start focusing my spending activity on my Fidelity Amex Plat Card.
