Thanks ^

I'll look at it later ... suffice to say I'm on a network that if I looked at these images, welllllll... my network manager would be 100% happy with me

Back onto topic, I'm finding I'm using my 17-40L a lot more (primarily because the 28-105 had an ickle.. umm accident on my last trip to Chicago - it didn't survive past the Coach station not 2 miles from where I live... lenses don't bounce on concrete I've learnt ).

I've yet to find a mixed zoom that matches it in handling and use to be honest (although I am seriously considering a Tamron 28-75 2.8 as a replacement). As we all know, the lower the stop, the weight of the lens increases.... and I'm trying not to add to the collection for now (well until I get my collection of world voltage studio lights).

The 17-40 is still a very good option IMO (the wideness is the clincher for me). All I have to do is not use it as a telephoto lens, and i'll be happier...
