Of course the questions relate to CAI airport. Your US passport and the $15 will suffice. Egypt Air departs from a separate terminal which requires a bus or taxi ride. Not sure if there are complimentary shuttles between the terminals, the place is a mess. Don't expect a meet and greet from LX in CAI, and definitely not a transfer over to the other terminal.
