There was a discussion on broadband and VOIP on this board http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...ight=broadband as well as on the AA board.

Personally I think that VOIP will not be a factor since it will not work too well after more than a few people connect to Skype.

I'm more interested in email and chat.

Also, the value of broadband in the air is greatly diminished without in-seat power plug, and AA has the big edge in that the majority of their aircrafts is equiped with in-seat cigarette lighter style power.
