Fair enough. I'll just get DL miles with DL flights and UA miles with UA flights then.

And for the scribbler, yes my UA flights (about 4 segments) last year that I put in my Skymiles account counted as status. It surprised me when I saw it since I haven't seen that published anywhere either.
