Daniel Boulud can't open a restaurant, go for 3 Michelin stars and actually get them quickly. It takes him and his team a long time to perfect the service style...and he has been in his business for decades.
I believe I explained earlier in the thread that I'm a real estate developer, and have enough resources to do this project without the need for partnerships of any kind. Here's the deal...I'm not interested in ANY *'s whatsoever. The only people I want to satisfy or who would ever know the full extent of what the island has to offer are those who can afford to stay with us. The only reviews will be from those who paid to stay with us and not people from magazines who were "comped". This is not an exercise in how much praise the company can receive...it's about building a completely new brand which raises to bar well above the level of stars and diamond ratings.
Also, please note that I fully understand the lead time for a project of this nature. It will take time and money to develop and construct each aspect of the property, and I'm prepared for it. The best things I've ever done were those things that others doubted so I look forward to wowing LOTS of people with new ideas.
