If no TB member is going to make a motion, what's the point of this thread?

At least I highly doubt if a TB member would make this into a motion.
The main theme here, if I may, is all about where/how to posit freebies. The reality of the freebies world here is they are mostly restricted to US-based FTers. So far we do have quite a few, some interesting, discussion points. However, from my own conclusion from reading, our non-US-based TB members don't feel the "burning" desire to get involved or make any change since they either hardly visit SPAM or are never able to take advantage of freebies. Personally, they don't feel the "impact" of freebie attacks. My speculation is our non US-based TB members will not take the lead to make the motion.
The remaining US-based TB members, some had generously participated in this thread; some we don't even know where they stand. Even if one of the spoken TB members would be willing to make the motion, not sure it would get any further. Freebie seems to be a more "low" priority instead of "life-or-death" issue, even when certain general members already voiced their opinions to "reorganize" the current S.P.A.M. forum. When freebie is "not so close to the core FT" mission, who would choose to act on it?
Maybe it's all in my head and I am just thinking too much.
I will really really love to see a motion to a freebie subforum under SPAM so this "freebis issue" can be done with.
