A very contrast view to what TEX277 described earlier in the thread. I just can't seem to make up my mind with all the conflicting reviews and opinions. I might pass on the HPNP. They (as well as the Kowloon Ramada) want an answer by 12:00 PM local Hong Kong time today as my booking is scheduled to begin over the weekend.
Once I confirm with HPNP they bill the entire amount for the month (15,000 HKD) upfront and do not permit any cancellations or changes. I am pretty much stuck with my choice in the event I do not like it. Of course, I can leave but they made it clear that no monies will be refunded. They want me to sign about four different documents and fax them a copy of my credit card (front and back) before finalizing the booking.
Ramada on the other hand is billing by the week, so in the event I don't like it, I can always relocate to another property. By the reviews however, I don't know whether the property (even given its location) is worth the price.
Interesting enough, this thread is now one of the top search results when someone uses Google to search for "Kowloon Ramada".
