Hmmmm ... "Airport Dining" -- an oxymoron I am afraid. In my dictionary, the closest I have is "Airport Stuff Ya Face".
YVR is pretty dire inside security. "A&B" is a wasteland, "C" pier has the Legends (White Spot), but transborder has nothing for sit-down service. Outside security, the domestic terminal is best with a couple of sit-down places. There is a pub in in the international terminal, and the food fair.
When I have time, and want to meet friends or family, I will go to the Fairmont, where the Globe Restaurant has some really nice menu items, a much more relaxed dining experience and a nice view.
