On top of that (which in and of itself was asking for an entitlement outside of the program's rules), at the time of check in the OP agreed to a deal with the hotel. He said basically "I'll take the room, go ahead and charge me for it. It's worth it to me to check in now." No one forced it on him. No one trick him and said "don't worry about it, it's no charge" and then charged his CC anyway. But then OP wants to complain about said deal to the manager the next day. Then wants to complain about how he was treated here. No dice. I really don't get it. Maybe OP's right and I've lost my mind.
