I received a letter today from UA, the form letter thingy, answering my complaint. Except it wasn't really my complaint they were answering. It was boilerplate apologizing for their upgrade problems, which is close but an oversimplification and not the same thing.

They gave me 4 comp 500 mile domestic upgrade certs.

I may try writing them back. No phone number on the letter.
