If you are flying on full fare Y tickets, why don't you fly on airlines which will give you a confirmed First class seat with no coupons required at the Y price (e.g., USAirway - which you do fly, CO, TW, NW or HP?). If your company lets you pay full C, then there may be some routings on UA which will get you into F at that price.
