It's not the TSA's fault that you live in place with a terrible airport. Instead of spending your time here and at the airport complaining about the TSA, you should be rallying your fellow elite members to push the airport authority and the airline representatives to make one in your airport. In the case where you travel a lot for work and live by an airport with no elite line, I can't help but think that you should move.

I don't really understand what you mean by shoe and liquid carnivals, so I can't really respond. Then again, I spend so little time going through security, I can't possibly fathom what you mean.
