Columbus for £45) but I am vying towards a more comprehensive policy (not much good info coming through FT search), can anyone recommend a good UK provider with decent levels of cover? It's worthwhile checking with the people that insure your house/contents as many offer special deals. This also means that you won't have the problesm of having two insurers covering goods removed temporarily from the home. My travel cover from Halifax Insurance gives me a good discount because it increases the discount on the other parts of the home policy. It's not cheap but seems comprehensive and I'm thinking of keeping it in adition to the Plat insurance.
