Recently sat in 1K in F on a 777 - had a grandstand view of the galley and the crew painstakingly putting together the meals. Quite scary really - the F meals come pre-packaged in huge foil containers within which are smaller foil containers with each part of the dish (so chicken in one container, spinach in another, rice in another etc etc). They then cook these in the ovens and tip each container out onto the plate to create the "just made by Gordon Ramsey" look on the plate.
It was only after the meal service that they close the galley curtain and I was spared the view of people going to the lav.
It was one of the 777s with 17 F seats and even with 3 crew the service was really really slow.
2K is the seat of choice on the 777
