Some of the best beef dishes I've had on planes has been with SQ, e.g. beef sukiyaki ex-NRT (a "Book the Cook" (BTC) option in J) is amazingly tender (with just the right amount of fat), moist and delicious:

and I also had a tasty wagu beef steak from the normal menu in SQ F NRT-LAX (and saved my BTC main for breakfast).

I second AJLondon above the foie gras and duck terrine with port wine jelly starter which I had last weekend going to SIN in BA F. Very tasty and I was tempted to ask for more (but didn't pluck up the courage)! The main (a beef fillet) was nowhere near as nice as that that I've had on SQ.

(The reviews of lobster thermidor on SQ have been "so so" so I've never ordered it as a BTC preferring instead the beef as mentioned above, Chilean seabass, roast goose ex-HKG etc)
