Sorry, it's not. The hotel I am referring to was smaller ... but direct on a sandy beach.....minimalistic decor and style, almost Bauhaus.

After all, I think the Albatroz is a good choice for jwjathome .. it has a real nice location
Also, I second your hint to get a car for one day. The beaches a little North are spectacular, and a visit to Sintra is a must....however, I had problems finding a parking place for the rental car.
