Bernstein makes a big deal in the menu about the combo of comfort food like Mac n Cheese with Steak Au Poivre (which is what this entree was intended to be) and yet we ended up with no 'comfort food'....must be the Paris caterers who turned their noses up at that "maca...quoi?" and decided it was better for us to have some linguine instead

Yeah, that's a good example of how trying to fancy up a basic dish like mac and cheese just screws it up instead.
