Surprisingly my o/b upgrade to SYD cleared this past weekend ( return already cleared upon request). I had been waitlisted and had expected to have to wait until close to my FEb 08 flight to get cleared subject to availability- no status on UA
Foe me with only about 60 ooo miles, I thought that a r/t in FC was preferable to saving for a y seat to Europe, except of course now that if I can get a status match on UA to mid tier before my flight, then I would end up with enough miles to fly J to Europe!!!!
